These pieces transform the rigidity of glass into a supple, fiber art-like piece.

After researching different techniques, from tapestry to basket weaving, the essence of this series begun to emerge. Stripes of glass became the yarn, and then woven with basic basket weaving techniques,  gradually transforming the rigidity of glass into a supple piece of fabric.

Hand spun and exotic yarn was used to create the focal points of the pieces, to blur the boundaries between both mediums and to integrate materials with opposing qualities, flexibility and rigidity.
